Bianca Barnett, Veterinary Technician

Bianca has worked at Coweta Animal Hospital since 2006. She has been a veterinary technician for 3 and 1/2 years. Bianca has a degree in Exotic Animal Training and Management, Wildlife Education and Behavior Management.

Although she loves the exotic pets, her true love is Chihuahuas! She has 3 at home named “Boo”, “Frodo”, and “Martini”. Bianca also has 2 cats, “Kiwi” and “Fez”.

Leslie Bell, Veterinary Technician

Leslie has worked at Coweta Animal Hospital since 2006. She started as a kennel assistant and quickly advanced to technician. Leslie loves Australian Cattle Dogs and has 2 of her own- Angus and Annie.

She lives in Senoia with her 4 dogs “Angus”, “Annie”, “Cole”, and “Harley”, her 2 cats “Pepper Jack” and “Cheddar” and 2 rabbits named “Simon” and “Daisy”. Her hobbies include watching football and spending time with her friends.

Kim Harbin, Registered Veterinary Technician

Kim is one of our registered veterinary technicians and is certified and licensed to practice Veterinary Technology. She has been a technician since 1977 and been with Coweta Animal Hospital since 2001. Her favorite areas are anesthesia, surgery, dentistry, radiology, and intensive care. She is a member of the Georgia Veterinary Technicians and Assistants Association and the National Association of Veterinary Technicians of America. Kim lives on Dixieland Farm in Heard county with Clementine, Sally, MaryLou (mules), Outlaw (dog), Sassy, Sabrina, Floyd, Amy, Candy, Amos (cats), several parakeets, chickens, and a variety of livestock. She is a member of the Heard county Saddle Club and American Donkey and Mule society. Her favorite activities are training and riding mules.

Laura Jordan, Veterinary Technician

Laura has been a technician for almost 10 years and has worked at Coweta Animal Hospital since 2005.

She is one of our main surgical technicians and will make sure your pet is monitored closely during surgery, and cared for while recovering from their procedure. She has 1 dog and 6 cats and enjoys cross stitching, Nascar, gardening and camping.

Kim Stacks, Receptionist

Kim has worked at Coweta Animal Hospital for 6 years. She started as a kennel assistant and now works at our reception desk.

Kim LOVES working up front where she can meet clients and their family members. She has 3 dogs, "Ruby", "Roxanne" and "Fisher", in addition to her 2 cats, "Annabelle", and "Hogan".

Destiny Overby, Kennel Staff

Destiny has been working at Coweta since 2006 as part of our kennel staff. She recently graduated form Northgate High School, and is attending West Central Technical College.

Destiny will soon be transferring to the University of West Georgia and hopes to attend Auburn University and become a veterinarian. She is the proud owner of 4 Jack Russells and 1 Chocolate Lab- Parker, Reba, Gretchen, Julie, and Cocoa.

Kay Slomer, Kennel Assistant (Photo coming soon!)

Kay started working at Coweta Animal Hospital in 2006 and is a favorite among the pets. She can often be found cuddling a boarder who is spending their vacation with us, or socializing a new kitten that has been rescued from the pound and getting ready for adoption. She currently lives in Newnan with her husband of 21 years and her four-legged son. "Boo Boo".

Dawn Carey, Veterinary Assistant (Photo coming soon!)

Dawn is one of the newest members of the Coweta Animal Hospital staff, but she has been working in the veterinary field for over 6 years. She enjoys all parts of her job, especially bonding with the pets and their owners. Dawn currently resides in Fairburn with her husband, Dean, and their 3 children- Kayla, Brianna, and Max. They also share their house with 2 dogs and 4 cats! She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, gardening, and watching football- Go Packers!

Melissa Blackstock, Receptionist (Photo coming soon!)

Melissa is a receptionist for Coweta Animal Hospital and she loves her job! She has 2 wonderful children named Garrett and Brianna. Melissa also has 6 animal children: Zoe, Dustee, Emmie, Phoebe, Tucker, and Tinkerbell. She works to support her love of animals, not her family- ha! ha!
